L’attesa è finita! I melodic death/doom metallers tedeschi NAILED TO OBSCURITY pubblicano oggi “Black Frost”, il loro attesissimo album di debutto per Nuclear Blast. Il disco, che sta ottenendo fantastiche recensioni in tutto il mondo, contiene sette canzoni, capaci di assorbire l’ascoltatore grazie ad un’atmosfera sbalorditiva, pur senza sacrificare il riconoscibile suono della band. L’album è stato registrato al Woodshed Studio (vicino a Landshut, Germania) con il produttore V. Santura (TRIPTYKON, DARK FORTRESS, BARREN EARTH, OBSCURA ecc.). L’artwork è ancora una volta opera di Santiago Caruso.

Per oltre dieci anni, i NAILED TO OBSCURITY hanno con successo sviluppato il proprio stile distintivo, qualcosa che sta tra il death metal melodico e il doom con influenze progressive. Il loro debutto “Abyss…” ha messo in luce questi barlumi, ma i loro dischi “Opaque” (2013) e “King Delusion” dello scorso anno hanno mostrato una reale evoluzione delle loro sonorità, consentendo loro di spiccare un balzo in avanti. Le loro canzoni malinconiche non sono mai prive della necessaria brutalità e creano sempre una distinta dinamica che mesmerizza l’ascoltatore, il quale sperimenta profondamente ogni nota e ogni parola.
