All’inizio dell’anno, i MUNICIPAL WASTE di Richmond, Virginia, hanno calcato i palchi europei con parte dell'”EMP Persistence Tour 20192. Ora il gruppo è pronto a visitare il continente ancora una volta con un tour di 18 date, il “Wrecking Europe 2019 Tour”, che parte questo Sabato a L’Aeronef, Lille (F). Non solo presenteranno canzoni tratte dall’ultima opera “Slime And Punishment” (2017), ma i WASTE polverizzeranno i club, e anche i palchi di prestigiosi festival come il Download UK, Graspop Metal Meeting, Copenhell, e Hellfest.

“Slime And Punishment” è il primo lavoro dei WASTE registrato dal bassista Phil “Landphil” Hall ai Blaze of Torment Studios di Richmond, VA. Del mixaggio e della masterizzazione si è occupato Bill Metoyer (SLAYER, W.A.S.P., LIZZY BORDEN e DARK ANGEL) a Hollywood, CA.
L’artwork è stato realizzato dall’amico di lunga data Andrei Bouzikov, che si era già occupato delle copertine di “Massive Aggressive”, “The Art Of Partying” e dello split con i TOXIC HOLOCAUST “Toxic Waste”.
“Slime And Punishment” ha segnato la prima settimana di vendita più alta per la band e l’entrata in classifica alla posizione #3 nella classifica Billboard Top New Artist / Heatseekers, #5 nella classifica Current Hard Music Albums, #9 nella classifica Independent Albums, e #44 nella classifica Top Current Albums. La band ha anche raggiunto la posizione #75 nella classifica Hard Music canadese e la #180 nella Top Current Albums.
