La famigerata banda di pirati metal ALESTORM salpa per un nuovo viaggio con il suo settimo album in studio, “Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum”, in uscita venerdì! Oggi la band svela il video del quarto singolo, la title track “Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum”, un vero e proprio ritorno agli albori di “Captain Morgan’s Revenge” che racconta l’eroica storia di una guerra nei sette mari!
Il nuovo video mostra la band in stile anni Settanta – pantaloni a zampa, occhiali da sole e camicie con le frange incluse. Non perdetevelo!

La band ha trascorso due anni durante il lockdown dando di matto e ripescando freneticamente i più folli inni pirateschi dal cilindro, dando vita al più epico e serio (sì, serio) album degli ALESTORM che abbiate mai sentito. Dal coro sinfonico di “Magellan’s Expedition” al roboante inno “Under Blackened Banners” con un riffing tecnico intenso e squisiti duelli solisti, Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum è un vero e proprio ritorno ai primi giorni di Captain Morgan’s Revenge. Ma anche i fan del moderno suono degli ALESTORM non devono preoccuparsi: c’è molta atmosfera di festa nella futura canzone di successo “P.A.R.T.Y.”, e il folle folk metal ad alta velocità “Cannonball” ha il testo più ridicolo e offensivo che abbiate mai sentito in una canzone pirata metal (facendo sembrare “Fucked With an Anchor” una canzone mansueta).
