I veterani della west coast, METAL CHURCH, pubblicheranno il loro dodicesimo album in studio “Damned If You Do” su Nuclear Blast Records il 7 Dicembre, 2018 (Rat Pak Records/America & King Records/Giappone). L’ultima uscita è stato il successore del loro acclamato album del 2016 “XI”, che ha visto il ritorno del leggendario frontman Mike Howe. “Damned If You Do” è un incrocio tra l’iconico “Blessing In Disguise” e “The Human Factor”.

“Damned If You Do” presenta anche il nuovo batterista Stet Howland (ex-W.A.S.P./Lita Ford). Stet arrivò in un primo momento dopo la separazione dallo storico batterista Jeff Plate, ma poco dopo essere entrato nella band gli fu diagnosticato un linfoma diffuso a grandi cellule B. Miracolosamente, le sue cure contro l’aggressivo linfoma non Hodgkin hanno funzionato e Stet ha potuto iniziare a registrare il nuovo disco.
“Damned If You Do” è qualcosa di unico e speciale. Le canzoni sono potenti, precise, e la visione musicale dei METAL CHURCH è unificata. Dalla inquietante traccia d’apertura ‘Damned If You Do’ alla dura traccia finale ‘The War Electric’, questo nuovo album interesserà tutti i fan dei primi anni della band e ne acquisirà di nuovi.
