Recently Italian mammoth sludgers HELL OBELISCO announced the release of their brand new EP “Cyclopian” on March 20th 2020.
Today the band unveils the first single “Sharp Dressed Man”. It’s a cover version of the famous ZZ TOP’s song.
HELL OBELISCO’s frontman Andrew states: “The ZZ TOP’s music is like the beard: it’s beautiful and the more you have, the more you want. Some of their songs have been in our life for a long time and their image has always been a trademark that influenced the whole music world.
We aimed to pay homage to them in our own small way, deluging their song with our sonic sludge. We hope you won’t miss too much the original version“.

“Cyclopian” has been recorded and mixed at Boat Studio by Marco Paradisi. Giovanni Versari mastered it at La Maestà Studio. The stunning cover artwork has been created once again by Roberto Toderico.
